Devlog #1 – Initial Release
Devlog #1 – Initial Release 🎉
Posted by: SpyDown Team
Hey everyone,
We’re incredibly excited (and a little nervous) to announce the very first release of our indie horror project — Dead Man’s Round!
This game has been a passion project for us — something we've been working on on and off over the past few months. The original concept was initiated by Aryan Verma, sparked by a wild idea after watching Squid Game Season 2. The thought of turning a simple game into something deadly stuck with us.
Later on, Shresth Dubey joined the project and played a huge role in refining the game mechanics and fixing some major design issues. From that point on, things really started taking shape.
As a team, SpyDown put a ton of effort into crafting a creepy, intense, and immersive experience. We focused on tension, psychological horror, and a reactive AI opponent that keeps things unpredictable.
That being said — this is just the beginning. There’s still a lot to improve, fix, and polish. But we wanted to get it in your hands, hear your thoughts, and shape the future of the game based on your feedback.
🙏 Thank You for Playing!
If you’ve made it this far — we appreciate you. More updates, bug fixes, and maybe even new killers or rooms… coming soon.
Let us know what scared you, what confused you, and what you want more of. We’re listening 👂
